Idaho APPORTIONED SEMI TRUCK 1991 PAIR License Plates Tag HI QUALITY Potatoes ID

Here is a HIGH QUALITY 1991 PAIR of Idaho (ID or Ida.) APPORTIONED license plates or tags on the Famous Potatoes base.
Tougher type from the Gem State.  This plate type is issued to semi trailer – truck – tractor trailer -type hauler vehicles allowing for interstate travel.  It’s unusual to see them so well-preserved considering their use.  And the fact that the pair has been kept together is also not common.  These ones came from a truck/tractor as indicated by the B series plate number.
Condition is surprisingly nice for a type like this.  What I imagine was the front plate has some fading, particularly to the sticker, and some light pitting/bug marks that may come off.  The rear plate is quite nice apart from a small scrape in the top left corner.
Unusual high grade pair on this type.
Looks and displays great.  Perfect for a collection.
These plates expired in 1991 making them 28 years old.
